You are about to finish a season of ministry, and the time has finally come to rest and catch your breath. But while sleeping in late and reading a few books sounds great, you know you need something much more profound - and much more healing.
Embark on a transformative journey of renewal and reconnection at the ReStory® Sabbatical Experience – a three-night retreat nestled in the heart of Fort Collins, Colorado. Designed exclusively for men like you who serve in Christian ministry contexts, this unique experience offers an opportunity to step away from your work and attend to your own soul.
Throughout the experience, ReStory Sabbatical Coach Jeremy Williamson will take you on a guided journey to process the goodness of the previous season of ministry, tend to your wounds, and reconnect with God not as a minister, but as a son. As you enjoy the sights, sounds, and fresh air of Northern Colorado, you’ll find a safe space for reflection, healing, and growth.
The ReStory® Sabbatical Experience has been carefully crafted to offer rest while making the most of your time in Colorado. Throughout the week, you'll find the freedom to explore your own story and reshape the narrative of your ministry journey with one-on-one coaching with Jeremy, facilitated group sessions with up to 3 other male ministry leaders, and times of guided solitude in the brilliant natural landscapes around the area.
Unburdened from the demands of ministry life, this is your time to renew your relationship with God, heal your wounds, and discover your passion for the next season of ministry.

Meet Jeremy
Jeremy Williamson is a Storywork Coach at ReStory Counseling specializing in Sabbatical Coaching and care for vocational ministers. He also serves as Director of Experiences for Restoration Project. In his 25+ years of ministry he has been a church planter, retreat speaker, youth pastor, humanitarian aid work, and missionary.

Pre and post-event sabbatical coaching sessions with Jeremy Williamson
Specialized pre-work assignments developed specifically for you and your ministry story. After an introductory conversation with Jeremy, you will receive 1-2 writing assignments to be completed 2-4 weeks prior to the Sabbatical Experience. This helps to begin the process of reflecting on your ministry story, uncovering your specific needs in sabbatical, and identifying areas where celebration or healing need to take place.

Check in is at 4:00 PM on September 19th. The experience will end by 10:30 AM on September 22nd.

Each participant will have his own room with a King or Queen sized bed in a luxurious home near Old Town Fort Collins. Restrooms and common areas will be shared.

It is best to plan on renting a vehicle or taking advantage of ride-sharing services such as Uber or Lyft. You will need transportation for meals as well as a few off-site activities.
Denver International Airport is the most convenient airport and about one-hour from Fort Collins.

Lunch and dinner will be on your own. These intentional gaps in the schedule are intended to give you space for solitude and reflection.

Casual! Early Fall in Northern Colorado is usually gorgeous, with mild days and chilly nights. We recommend you dress comfortably in layers, and be prepared to spend some time outdoors.
